Pond Treatment - What are the Alternatives?
Wednesday, September 17, 2008 - Drew Budelis from Lionheart Creek Consulting will be coming in to lead a discussion on pond treatment alternatives. What have you found that works? What have you tried that didn't work? He will also be discussing "SonicSolutions" for algae control. We will meet at the City of Blaine as they and the Coon Creek Watershed District are exploring the idea of placing a device in a pond to see how it works. If successfully implemented, we will be including a tour to go look at the pond.

Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - Angie Hong from the East Metro Water Resource Education Program is working working on an MS4 toolkit project to create educational materials for cities, counties, watersheds and other MS4's to use to meet their stormwater education needs. She is in the process of researching and acquiring existing materials from within and outside Minnesota so that she can determine what new materials may need to be created from scratch. Come to find out what materials have been collected thus far and give feedback about what new materials you would like to see created.
